Blanca H. Cottman to the world, Blanca to her loving husband, mommy to her kids, Mrs. Blanca to her students and an Angel to us all. They say after one passes away, that no matter what you believe; you become an Angel of God. Blanca Cottman figured out a way to win in life, like she always did in family poker games or on her trips to Vegas. You see Blanca won because she somehow figured out that you don’t need to be an Angel only once you’ve gone to heaven; you can be an Angel during your time here on Earth. That’s exactly what Blanca was to us all.

Anyone that knew Blanca found guidance, direction, and solace from her smile. You always knew that with everything she did, it was selfless and with undeniable love. Her laughter was contagious and her presence was strong. She was brilliant and creative, daring yet honest. She was our Angel here on earth and now our Guardian Angel from above.

Blanca officially received her wings on December 28th, 2017. She is survived by her loved husband Michael, her loved sons Adrian and Raymond, her loved daughter Vanessa, her brother Armando, her sister Laura, her son-in-law Harold and 3 beautiful Grandchildren; Ricky, Zoey, and Sophie. Blanca was loved by many and touched countless lives. From her family all over the country/world, to the thousands of kids she taught over her 32 year career in special education. Her Legacy was felt and will forever be remembered.
